Singer’s arrest was ordered on Monday, but the revocation was revoked this Tuesday, while he was in Miami.
Gusttavo Lima will have to return to Brazil by next Thursday (26/9) to fulfill his concert schedule, according to lawyer Cláudio Bessas. The singer, whose arrest was ordered last Monday (23/9) by the Pernambuco court, had the order revoked on Tuesday.
Return to Brazil
According to Bessas, the compatriot is in Miami, United States, for work. “He has shows on Friday (27/9) in Marabá (PA) and Saturday (28/9) in Parauapebas (PA). He usually arrives a day or two before the shows, so we believe he will return on Wednesday or Thursday,” the lawyer told UOL News.
Travel and police operations
Bessas also denied that Gusttavo Lima had protected the fugitives from justice during his trip to Greece, as Judge Andrea Calado da Cruz suggested when ordering the singer’s arrest. “He brought guests to celebrate his birthday in Greece. On September 4, when Operation Integration was launched, some of these guests decided not to return to Brazil, but that does not mean that Gusttavo helped them escape,” the lawyer said.
The defense reiterated that all information on passengers is registered with the Anac, denying any attempt to involve them in illegal activities.
