Lady Gaga: Explores Madness in ‘Joker: Delirium for Two’

The film, which will be released in the United States and Europe on September 27 and in Brazil on October 3, offers a new perspective on the Gotham City universe, focusing on the complex relationship between Harley Quinn and the Joker, played by Joaquin Phoenix. While Phoenix reprises the role of Arthur Fleck, a tormented character who falls apart mentally, Lady Gaga takes on the role of Harleen Quinzel, an Arkham Asylum psychiatrist who finds herself gradually seduced by her patient’s madness.

The film’s narrative explores Harleen’s transformation into Harley Quinn and the development of a dysfunctional and intense bond between the two main characters. The film promises to delve further into Arthur’s disturbed psyche and the depths of madness he and Harley share.
