In another excerpt, Giovanna revealed that she felt persecuted: “Now the cameras have entered her house, it’s an absurd persecution. I’m praying, but things appear from the outside that make our lives hell. I have no peace.” She also stressed that she does not consider herself a victim: “I’m not poor, we really fought, like everyone else.”
