Britney Spears scared her followers when she reported that she had suffered a domestic accident involving a fire. The singer said her face, hair, eyelashes and eyebrows were burned in an explosion in the fireplace of her mansion.
Despite the scare, Britney clarified that the accident occurred six months ago and that she has now fully recovered from her burns. The artist explained that it was not the first time the fireplace had problems and that he usually asked security for help to light it. “But this time I threw everything in there and it literally blew up in my face,” he reported.
“I was in my room, I lit the fire and, suddenly, it exploded in my face. The fire tore out all my eyelashes, eyebrows… And do you see these baby bangs? They are my hair singed by the fire” , Britney showed.
The singer also said she needed to be seen due to burns on her face. “I should go to the emergency room because my face is on fire,” she reflected, without clarifying whether she was examined by a doctor.
“It hurt to touch the phone, it hurt to put an ice pack on, it hurt to feel something touch my face. It went on like this for about six or seven hours. The pain wouldn’t go away. It was really, really, really bad . Yes, it was really bad, but everything is fine now,” Britney concluded.
