MTV published this Tuesday (8/10) the list of nominees for the Europe Music Awards (EMA) 2024, in which Anitta broke a historical record by being mentioned in three different categories.
This year, Anitta competes in the Biggest Fans, Best Latin Music Artist and Best Collaboration categories, where she competes for “Bellakeo,” her acclaimed partnership with Peso Pluma. It is the first time in the history of the award that a Brazilian artist has obtained three nominations.
International highlights
The list of nominees is led once again by singer Taylor Swift, who will compete for seven awards, including Best Artist, Best Pop Artist, Best Live, Biggest Fans and Best Collaboration, in which she competes for the song “Fortnight” with Post Malone. .
Hot on the heels of Taylor, the awards highlighted names like Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter with five nominations in several major categories, such as Song of the Year, Video of the Year and Artist of the Year.
The awards ceremony will take place on November 10, at Co-op Live, in Manchester, England, with live broadcasts on MTV Brasil and Pluto TV.
