Why is The Who’s Pete Townshend ‘disappointed’ in Oasis’ return?

Known as co-founder, frontman, guitarist, second vocalist and main songwriter of the English rock band The Who, Pete Townshend gave his opinion on one of the great music phenomena in 2024: the announcement of the band’s reunion tour Oasisa group formed by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher.

And also the great composers of today, including the Beatles and all the others until Taylor Swift.”

I love what she does too. Not that she’s necessarily always my taste, but I just love the fact that she seems to love it, that she seems to be having so much fun. That’s what I identify with.
