Sponsored by Belo, Ana Clara reveals true influence on music: ‘I have memories’

In an interview with Contigo!, Ana Clara comments on the influence on pagodas and talks about her career

Anna Chiaraone of the leading female pagoda voices today, has stood out on the music scene this year. With 14 years of career, the singer was “sponsored” by Beautiful and received the privilege of performing in front of unimaginable audiences. Today she attributes all her success to the fact that she dedicated herself to music from an early age.

In an interview with With you!the artist talks about who his main influence in music has been and highlights the affection he has received from great pagoda artists on the road for many years. “Artists have helped me a lot in my career”recognizes.

“I usually say that music always chooses us. My history with music began when I was very young. I come from a super musical family, who always really liked Brazilian music, MPB music, samba, pagodas, anyway. I have many memories of when I was little, when my father gathered his friends at home, held samba circles and I was already part of this super musical atmosphere, I already wanted to play the drums, I wanted to participate and all the rest”he says.

Ana Clara says she never had a plan B if the opposite of her success at the pagoda occurred. However, she ventured into other jobs while doing small shows in Joinville, Santa Catarina.

“In my journey, I’ve never done anything else in my life. I even tried to do some things, to reconcile some things, but it was always music, it was always samba, it was always pagode. Singing has always been this style of music and this is a question that I usually answer a lot, because I’m from Santa Catarina, I’m from Joinville People don’t really make that connection.”he says.

The artist draws attention to the fact that Santa Catarina is not a pagoda-consuming state like others in the southeastern region of Brazil, such as Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, for example. She, however, was not intimidated. He credits his father as his inspiration in music.

“The environment where I was born, where I lived, where I grew up, has always been full of this rhythm, therefore, I have never seen myself singing anything else, I have always been very passionate about it, everything I know about the genre, you know, for example, I learned from my father, who has always been a guy who really likes to sing, who likes to play percussion, and my life started as a musical because of this influence of my father, my family, which has always had a lot of life, in short, inside my life, for you it was already a natural thing, the pagoda”concludes the singer.
