Band reunited for last performances after a decade of break
The band Restartwho marked generations in the 2000s with his colorful emo style, returned to the stage for a farewell tour that toured Brazil in 2024.
Formed by Fr Lu, Father Lanza, Thomas and Kobathe group won hearts with hits such as “I’ll take it with me”, “Start over“, “Strange Girl” and “For You to Remember“.
The announcement of the tour was received with excitement by fans, who filled the shows in several cities, including Espaço Unimed, in São Paulo, where the band performed exactly 10 years after their last show before the hiatus that began in 2014.
The farewell also moved the public on audio platforms. On Deezer, the number of plays on Restart songs increased at various times throughout the year.
This is the case, for example, on October 26th, the date on which the group performed in São Paulo. That day, streams grew by 55%.
On other dates, such as July 13 and February 2, increases of 28% and 172% also showed continued play from fans.
Among the most played tracks are “I’ll take it with me”who dominated on every occasion, in addition to “Strange Girl”, “Start over” and “Our Rock”.
The cities that listened to Restart the most were São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba and, in relation to the age group of the public, fans aged 26 to 35 are the majority, followed by listeners aged 18 to 25.
