The singer died when he fell from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after consuming alcohol, drugs and medications, according to police.

The body of Liam Payne arrived in London this Wednesday 6th, three weeks after the death of the singer, who fell from the balcony of a hotel in Argentina. The body left Ezeiza International Airport, Buenos Aires, bound for Saint-Paul’s Cathedral, Wolverhampton, where family, friends and fans will have the opportunity to pay their last respects.

According to the Daily Mailthe plane carrying the musician’s body landed at 7:49 (local time) at Heathrow airport in London. According to the newspaper The MirrorLiam’s father, Geoff Payne, accompanied the trip from Buenos Aires to the British capital. The star’s body will be embalmed and the burial is expected to take place over the weekend.

Liam Payne died on October 16, 2024 after suffering a fall at the hotel where he was staying in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Toxicological tests highlighted the presence of some drugs in your body. He reportedly suffered around 25 injuries from the fall, which resulted in his death.

The police arrest the suspects

On Thursday 7th, Argentine authorities arrested three people suspected of involvement in the death of Liam Payne.

According to prosecutor AndrĂ©s Esteban Madrea, in an interview with the Sky News portal, the suspects will be accused of “abandonment of a person resulting in death, dealing and aiding and abetting narcotics”. An autopsy performed on Payne’s body revealed traces of crack, cocaine and other drugs.

The defendants include the musician’s personal assistant, a hotel employee and the drug supplier.
