Ruas MC and MELI continue mixing rap and electronics in new album

‘IN THE FUCK OF A FRIDAY NIGHT, VOL. 2’ arrived on platforms this Friday (8) and maintains the essence of volume one with new features

After the great success of the first volume — which has already accumulated more than 250 thousand plays — Brazilians MC Streets and MELI are back with the release of ON A FRIDAY NIGHT, VOL. 2a record that raises the energy level and brings new things to the dance floor.

Available on all digital platforms via ONErpm Starting this Friday (8), the album promises to be a new milestone for the scene that mixes rap, trap, house, electronic and more.

In total, there are 10 tracks that maintain the creative essence of volume one, but present a new freshness with electronic beats and engaging rhymes.

In my view, it is a very satisfying project and one that made me expect a turning point in my career. The idea from the beginning was to create something better and more ‘dance’ than volume 1. I’m sure we managed to achieve that. I stop to listen to the project and I can only feel a feeling of total satisfaction and happiness for being able to deliver something the way we wanted it to the public. My expectation is that we get as far as possible to be able to live for this, it is my desire in fact and that is what each track says to me”, he comments MC Streets.

The new album also confirms the sound and lyrical maturation of MC Streets and MELIwhich explore new themes and rhythms.

For me, this project is a realization and realization of a dream. When I started my career as a music producer, I always had the desire and idea to bring something different to what the electronic music scene was used to. As I consumed a lot of rap/hip-hop, my desire was to merge these two worlds, but in an original, subtle and good way to be consumed, without leaving out national talents, without that cliché of vocals in English which was very common in electronic music”, analyzes MELI.

ON A FRIDAY NIGHT, VOL. 2 also features special appearances that expand the project’s sound diversity, including important collaborations such as TOKIODK, Yuri Redicopa, André Miquelotti and the DJs Kenan and Kelknown for creating the party Underworld 808.

The project is a true showcase of musical versatility with the rhymes of MC Streetswhich joins the experience of MELI in electronic production, resulting in an unusual and engaging combination. Each track was designed to be unique, providing a sound experience that will certainly leave the audience wanting to do it again.
