“The City of São Paulo deeply regrets the death of singer Agnaldo Rayol and stands in solidarity with his entire family and fans in this moment of grief. The Municipal Health Department is carrying out an investigation into the care provided by Samu. The team’s arrival at the hospital was 18 minutes, within what is recommended to ensure safe and adequate support for the patient”, said the Secretariat, in a note sent to Earth.
Last Saturday, the 9th, Rayol’s family released a statement on social media, saying that, after analyzing the images, “we found that the total time – from the first call to Samu until the ambulance left for the hospital – it was 1 hour and 22 minutes.” “.
According to the note, while waiting for the ambulance, Samu offered telephone assistance, as the singer was bleeding heavily. According to the family, three bath towels were needed to contain the artist’s bleeding.
“The first call to Samu was made on 04/11 at 3.30am. The ambulance arrived at the entrance of the building at 4.19am, i.e. 49 minutes after the first of the four calls made. The professionals entered the building at 4.22am and, after serving, left with the singer on a stretcher at 4.38am. The ambulance closed the doors at 4.41am and remained at the scene until 4.52am, for a total of 14 people. minutes in front of the building before heading to the HSanp hospital, located 1.8 km away,” the statement said.
The family also said Rayol arrived at the hospital conscious, but was later diagnosed with a head injury and died at 8.30am the same day.
