THE return of MTV Luau, successful program in the 2000s MTV Braziljust had a premiere date: the musical special will air on December 12, a Thursday, at 8:30 pm, and will be available on MTV Brasil’s Pluto TV, MTV and YouTube.
Registered in Preá, Ceará, IL MTV Luau will feature a partnership between the rapper L7not AND Marcelo Falcao, lead singer of the band O Rappa who is currently pursuing a solo career.
The presentation is by actress Bella Campos, while Pedro Scooby shows behind the scenes. Sarah Oliveira, former MTV VJ and host of My songfrom radio Eldorado, makes a special appearance, interviewing the artists
Sponsored by Corona beer, the special marks the arrival of summer and resumes the format of the original program: the beach as a setting and acoustic sound, with guitar and percussion, in an intimate atmosphere.
The first edition of the program was broadcast in 1997. Artists such as Ivete Sangalo, Charlie Brown Jr., Cássia Eller and Nando Reis participated. The last season, in 2012, featured the band Raimundos among its attractions and was led by Ellen Jabour.
