A video circulating on social media shows singer-songwriter Ed Motta arguing with a member of the team during a show and being booed by the audience. The incident occurred at Rock The Mountain, a festival that took place last weekend in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro.

In the images, the singer appears sitting playing the keyboard and, at one point, tells the pro: “Any roadie knows this. You’re out, man. I said you’d stay, but it’s the last show.” you will.”

Next, Ed Motta starts playing a song, but looks to the side and sees the pro moving across the stage. The singer then shouts, “Son of a bitch! Damn!” When the coach tries to get closer, he shouts: “Get away from me.” At that moment the audience begins to boo the artist.

Ed Motta has been heavily criticized on social media for his behavior. In response to a follower he said that “[os profissionais] they were less attentive and professional with me. Everyone receives the same rate. The level of errors made today compromised my performance and consequently that of the band. It wasn’t a simple thing, a small thing, it was a serious thing, seriously.”

He later wrote an apology: “But you’re absolutely right. I should have sharper emotional intelligence (cockroach blood). I apologized for what happened on the show and I apologize again to you and everyone in attendance.”
