Coldplay’s new music video
Veteran actor Dick Van Dyke, known for his roles in “Mary Poppins” (1964), “The Magical Jalopy” (1968) and several classic film and television comedies, starred in Coldplay’s latest music video, “All My Love”, third single from the band’s tenth album, “Moon Music”, released in October.

More details
The video is a “director’s cut” that intersperses the song “All My Love” with an interview with Van Dyke, in which he highlights his artistic journey and brings strong reflections on his personal history. “I’m fully aware that I could leave at any moment. But, for some reason, that doesn’t bother me. I’m not afraid of it, I have that feeling, totally against anything intellectual that I’m about to do. I’m fine,” he says. the veteran in an excerpt.
Despite the emotional theme, Van Dyke also offers lighthearted moments in the clip, including jokes about his age. At first, a voice asks him to close his eyes and think about important people, but he chooses not to obey: “I’m too old for this, I’ll pass out and sleep, take a nap!”
This version is a warm-up for the official music video for “All My Love,” which will be released on December 13, when Van Dyke will turn 99. Watch the director’s cut below.
