Jazz legend, saxophonist Igor Butman will play at SP this Wednesday; find out more

Considered Bill Clinton’s favorite saxophonist, Butman emigrated to the United States and consolidated his name on the jazz scene, playing alongside great names of the genre, such as Chick Corea, Wynton Marsalis, Jack DeJohnette, John Patitucci, Stefon Harris and Randy Brecker.

In 2011, due to his career and life dedicated to music and cultural exchanges between nations, the 63-year-old musician received the title of People’s Artist of Russia, an honor bestowed upon individuals who have achieved notable achievements in the arts.
