Artists participated together in a special episode of the Carpool Karaoke attraction, where they told stories while driving

The appreciation of Lady Gaga why rock and even heavy metal is no secret to many people. His stage name influenced by “Radio Ga Ga” (queen) and the partnership with the Metallica node Grammy in 2017 represent just a few of many examples.

Therefore, it is also not surprising that the real-name artist Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta be a fan of AC/DC. And the public could see this in practice.

Gaga was one of the guests on the surprise special A Carpool Karaoke Christmasfrom the Apple TV+. Normally, the program features an artist or band alongside the presenter James Corden on car trips to the sound of your favorite songs. On this occasion, however, Corden was replaced by Zane Lowe and instead of just one attraction, there were several, usually combined in pairs.

In her participation, the American singer was accompanied by none other than Brian Johnson, lead singer of AC/DC. Together they sang the hit song “Highway to Hell”from the band formed in Australia.

The television attraction has already debuted in the United States. In other countries, its exhibition will take place this Friday (20). Dua Lipa and Chappell Roan also participate. Check out a snippet of Lady Gaga and Brian Johnson’s presence and a full trailer below.

Lady Gaga also took advantage of the occasion to reveal a curious fact: as a teenager, she participated as an extra in the group’s music video for the song “Stiff Upper Lip”title track from the album released in 2000. She herself recalls:

“Want to hear something funny? I was in the video for ‘Stiff Upper Lip’. I was 17 years old and an extra in the back seat. I was headbanging and they were, like, ‘hmmm, don’t headbanging, we want it to be modern.’ And I was, like, ‘but there’s only one move I can make’.”
