The singer releases “How Can I Love Like This?” in honor of the baby and celebrate a new phase as a mother
First clip after motherhood
Two months after Nala’s birth, Iza presented her daughter’s face for the first time in the video for “How Can I Love Like This?”. The song, composed especially for the little girl, marks the artist’s first work since becoming a mother. The daughter is the result of her relationship with the player Yuri Lima, who had already shared photos of the little girl, but without fully revealing her face.
The clip combines scenes of the singer with Nala in the baby’s room, as well as recordings of her pregnancy and preparations for childbirth. “I want my daughter to one day in the future see what I experienced as a unique moment,” Iza explained in a press release. The song, initially planned for his next album, was released as a single to tease the reveal. “I decided to post it first, because I know my fans are curious to see his face. “The Little Lion” is also a reference to the child’s name, which is named after the character Iza voices in the Portuguese version of “The Lion King” and its sequel/prelude “Mufasa: The Lion King”.
