2024 has been a special year regarding past shows for Brazil. Between festivals, visits by foreign artists and national artists who invest in ever better tours, we can say that the balance is extremely positive.
Among the Brazilians, the closing show of the tour stands out Dfrom Djavanwhich took place in Rio de Janeiro and, like everything the artist does, was excellent. The always contagious energy of BaianaSystem shook the Interlagos racetrack during the band’s appearance at Lollapalooza. And how can we not mention the tours of Liniker and brothers Caetano AND Bethânia. Rock dominated the charts, with the band’s farewell tour Seriousthe audiovisual recording of The hemp planet and the presentation of Black Panther as an opening act for Living color.
Among the international attractions we highlight the stellar passage of Lauryn Hill – has the right to Wyclef Jean as one of the guests – and always brilliant Paul McCartneywho led his tour I’m back to the country. The closure of Celebratory ride From Madonna for more than a million people on the sands of Copacabana I couldn’t go out. Other very important moments were the end of the cycle, with Nicko McBrain announcing the withdrawal of the stage during the passage of Iron Maiden for Brazil and the exciting debut of Eloy Casagrande as a member of Sliding knot.
