Chris Cornell, former Soundgarden frontman, died aged 52 in 2017
the daughter of Chris Cornell shared a video on his Instagram as a tribute to what would have been his father’s 58th birthday. the vocalist of soundgarden died on May 18, 2017.
Toni Cornell is also a singer and musician, the video published last Wednesday, 20th, is a home video in which we see Tony singing the chorus of Rihanna in “Love the Way You Lie” by EminemWhile Chris play the guitar.

in the caption, Tony wrote “Nothing Compares to You” as a reference to her father’s favorite song “Nothing Compares 2 U”.
“It’s not just a song, it’s what I really think about when I look back at our life and memories together. (…) Losing you was one of the hardest things we had to go through. They say it gets easier with time, but As the days and years go by, and since the last time we saw each other, we miss you even more.” he wrote Tony in the caption
in mayRage Against The Machine and the late singer’s wife Vicky Cornell were among those who paid tribute to the singer on the fifth anniversary of his death.
“Chris, five years we’ve missed you, you’ve got love, you’ve got peace, you’ve got eternity. Love and peace to all Soundgarden brothers and sisters,” the band wrote.

The ex-vocalist of soundgarden and audioslave committed suicide at age 52 in May 2017. Christopher John Boyle was one of the main names in grunge, born in Seattle, USA, on July 20, 1964.
After soundgarden, Cornell formed the audioslave with members of Rage Against the Machine(Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk). In 2007, she focused on a solo career that went from pop rock to acoustic before returning to soundgardenin 2010.
