Julian Lennoneldest son of John Lennonconfessed that he is outside the “inner circle” of Beatles.
In an interview with The Guardian (via NME), Julian talked about the resurgence of interest in Beatles after the documentaries The Beatles: Get Back (2021) and Beatles 64 (2024):
It’s new to me half the time. I’m not part of the inner circle—never have been. You have to understand that when my father left, when I was between three and five years old (it was kind of a process), it was just my mother and I, and we had nothing to do with the Beatles or my father.
“I am grateful for sean [Lennon] and I get along well — we’re best friends, and he tells me what he can, but things are pretty secretive between the front lines. Beatles“, he continued.
Julian added: “I’d rather be excited and impressed by what they’ve done and continue to do. As a fan, I’m as curious as anyone else, although I still find myself thinking, ‘How is it possible they’re making another Beatles movie?'”

Beatles biopic
Joseph Quinn must interpret George Harrison in the future biopic of Beatleswhich will be managed by Sam Mendes. Industry sources reportedly told the Deadline that the actor is preferred for the role (via NME).
