Adrian Smith and his family managed to leave the place safely: “We are united and we will start again,” says his wife on social media
Since the beginning of the week, a forest fire has raged in Los Angeles, a major city in the United States, as well as other cities in the region. In total, eleven people died as a result of the blaze, which also caused the evacuation of more than 130,000 people and the destruction of approximately 10,000 properties, including homes, buildings, churches, schools and businesses.
Since the region is inhabited by numerous world-famous people, it has been frequent to come across reports of artists and personalities in general who have had to deal with the environmental problem. One of those affected is Adrian Smithguitarist by Iron Maidenwho had to leave his residence in the Malibu region – and lost it in a fire.

The information was shared by his wife, Nathalie Dufresne Smith, on social media (via Igor Miranda’s website). Also on Tuesday (7), he confirmed that he had left the place with his family. Last Friday (10th), the sad news: the property and its belongings were engulfed in flames.
Publishing images of a sunset, the guitarist’s wife declared:
“We have lost our home. Thank you for all your kind words and support. Last sunset.”
In the caption he added:
“We are safe. We have each other. Let’s start again. #MalibuForte. Thank you for your support during these difficult times.“

Other rock musicians were affected

Overall losses could reach more than $50 billion (more than R$300 billion at current prices). Normally insurance companies do not cover this type of problem in the region, considering its recurrence.
The president Joe Biden declared a state of emergency in the state of California. He also announced that the federal government will cover 100% of the recovery for six months.

“I’m here in what used to be our home, and the pain is indescribable. I feel like my heart has shattered into a million pieces,” Paris wrote on her social media.

The actress and singer Mandy Moore, protagonist of the series this is ushe lost his home in the flames. In a publication, he revealed that he managed to evacuate with his family and pets moments before the tragedy.
“I’m grateful that my family and pets got out last night before it was too late. We are safe, but the loss is still devastating,” Mandy wrote. The house, located in Pacific Palisades, has been described as a retreat from the hectic Hollywood routine.
3. Milo Ventimiglia
Actor Milo Ventimiglia, co-star of Mandy in this is usit was also affected by the fires. In an interview with CBS, he recounted how he and his nine-months-pregnant wife were forced to quickly evacuate.
“You start to think about all the memories made in the house, and seeing everything destroyed is devastating,” reported Milo, who also thanked the firefighters for their commitment to saving human lives.

Singer Jhené Aiko revealed on social media that her home was completely destroyed, leaving all her belongings behind.
“My home and my children’s homes are gone. Everything was burned, including our memories and most precious things. I’m grateful that we have each other, but starting from scratch is scary,” ventilated. The property was located in Hidden Hills.
5. Tina Knowles
Entrepreneur Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, lost her beach bungalow in Malibu, a space she described as her sanctuary. In a video posted on social media, Tina showed the vision she had of the fire.
“It was my favorite place, my sanctuary, my sacred happy place. Now it’s gone,” wrote Tina, who also thanked the firefighters for their efforts amid the tragedy.
6. Spelling candy
Candy Spelling, mother of actress Tori Spelling, reported that her home, located in Calabasas, was completely destroyed by flames.
“I’m in shock and processing this huge loss. This house held so many memories of my family, and now only memories remain,” Candy told TMZ. The property was one of the most iconic in the region, with historic architectural details.
7. Cashier Miles
Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Teller, lost their residence in Pacific Palisades. Keleigh shared a photo taken during the evacuation on Instagram, showing the house still intact, but with thick clouds of smoke in the background. She later posted an image of the wreckage, expressing regret that she was unable to save personal items such as her wedding dress.
“If you are in the Los Angeles area, PLEASE get out if you can.”Keleigh warned in a social media post. He also thanked the community for their support and praised the strength of local residents.
8. Anthony Hopkins
Anthony Hopkins, Oscar winner and one of the greats of cinema, saw his home in Pacific Palisades destroyed by fire. According to TMZ, the actor is safe, but the loss of his residence was total. The house was known for housing the actor’s extensive art collection and as a creative space for his painting projects.
9. Cameron Mathison
Actor Cameron Mathison shared a video of the rubble of his home, reflecting on the emotional impact of the destruction.
“This house is where we raised our children and where they dreamed of raising their children in the future. Seeing all of this disappear is something I’m still trying to process,” wrote the actor on his social networks. The property was located in Hidden Hills and was one of the family’s favorite spaces for gatherings and celebrations.
10. Anna Faris
Actress Anna Faris has lost her 1,219m² villa in Pacific Palisades, purchased in 2019 for around R$30 million. The property, which had been decorated with exclusive items after her split from Chris Pratt, was completely destroyed. Anna has not officially commented, but sources close to her told TMZ that she is “devastated by the loss.”
