The Grammy organization has announced some of the highlights of this year’s ceremony, including Billie Eilish, Shakira, Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter. Other confirmed artists include Chappell Roan, Benson Boone, Doechii, Raye and Teddy.

The performances reflect the diversity of musical styles among this year’s nominees. Billie Eilish, who already accumulates ten Grammy Awards, is nominated for seven categories, including Album of the Year, Recording of the Year and best group performance, for “Hypothesis”, partnership with Charli XCX.

Charli XCX, another major presence in the awards, competes in eight categories, including Album of the Year with “Brat”, work widely acclaimed for its cultural relevance.

Rookies and highlights

Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan, nominated for the first time, are contesting six categories each, including major album of the year, music of the year and breakthrough artist. Dockii, Benson Boone, Raye and Teddy Swims are also in dispute as the artist of the revelation, highlighting the impact of these names on the current music scene.

Leading the nominations this year was Beyoncé with 11 nominations, setting a new record for a female artist in a single year. Previously, the record had been shared by Lauryn Hill, who had 10 nominations in 1999, and Beyoncé herself, with 10 in 2010. This is the fifth year Beyoncé leads the nominations.

Purpose and presentation of solidarity

The ceremony will be hosted by Trevor Noah, who returns to lead the event for the fifth consecutive year. In addition to celebrating the song’s biggest highlights, the 2025 Grammys will raise money to support efforts against the wildfires that have devastated the Los Angeles region in recent weeks.

The event is scheduled for February 2 on Arena Crypto.com in Los Angeles, with live broadcast on the TNT pay channel and on the MAX platform.
