Musicos First Oasis releases since its long -awaited meeting

Band has not yet revealed plans to provide unpublished songs, but this does not prevent reissues from reaching the market

In August last year, the Oasis It announced the resumption of its activities to perform a tour, the first since 2009. The agenda has a series of shows, including in Sao Paulo, which hosts the band in November.

Since the news of the return, many fans have speculated if the brothers Liam (voice) and Noel Gallagher (guitar) would release unpublished songs or not. After all, both were creatively prolific in solo career.

For now, there should be no unpublished songs. Even so, they announced releases – of old material to new versions – for the first half of this year.

On February 28, a reprint of Standing on the Shoulder of Giants (2000), fourth studio album of the English band. The idea is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the album, which will now be made available on a limited vinyl with distinct colors and remastered audio.

Taking advantage of the occasion, the four official labor music videos will be relaunched in the Youtube in 4K quality. Each will arrive in one of the next Friday. Check out the agenda:

  • 14/02: “Who Feels Love?”
  • 21/02: “Sunday Morning Call”
  • 28/02: “Go Let It Out”
  • 07/03: “Where Did It All Go Wrong?”

And not stop there: in the next Record Store Day, April 12, Oasis also relaunches the collection Time Fliesoriginal 2010. The material, now in a box set with Vinis board, compiles all the singles of the group’s career. The tracklist does not follow chronological order, but curiously the first track is the promotional debut song, “SuperSonic” (1994), and the last one is the final in the format, “Falling Down” (2009).

As well as the reissue of Standing on the Shoulder of Giantsthe return of Time Flies The market will occur in limited copies and colorful discs, as well as remastered audio. Both initiatives are from Big Brother Recordings, the label founded by the band itself.

Oasis relaunch

These are not Oasis’s first relaunch in recent times. In 2020, the band made available a new version of (What’s the story) Morning Glory? (1995), celebrating its 25th anniversary. Last year was the turn of Definery Maybe (1994), which has reached three decades.
