Banda guarantees that it will not back down on the decision of their retirement – because that would be impossible for specific reasons

Since its announcement in 2018, the farewell tour of the Kiss, End of the Worldis the target of joke by the public. After all, the band has already held an alleged final tour, Farewell Tourat the beginning of the century. But this time retirement will not be revoked – not just by the advanced age of musicians.

In an interview with Podcast OFF THE CUPP WITH SE CUPP (via Blabberouth), Paul Stanley He sent the real about the situation of Kiss as a brand and company. The singer and guitarist reinforced what had already been announced in 2024: everything related to the group was sold to the Pophousecompany that will set up a show of avatars with a premiere scheduled for two years.

That is, the musicians could not go back or if they wanted, since the intellectual property is no longer with him or his partner, the singer and bassist Gene Simmons. The 73 -year -old artist explained:

“I am blessed to have done what I did. And that will last forever. We sell Kiss, which is unheard of, which doesn’t even exist in the lexicon of music. We sell everything from Kiss months ago. The logo, the makeup, the songs. ”

Regarding the Avatares show – which featured a small spoiler at the group’s final show in December 2023 – Paul stated:

“There will be an incredible and engaging musical experience that will debut in 27, in which George Lucas (Star Wars, Indiana Jones) is involved. These characters will live forever. And we are involved, gene and I are involved in it. So, yes, it lives forever. I can’t live forever, but the Starchild (Paul’s character in the band) gets. ”

Paul Stanley: “Time is precious”

Also during the interview, Paul Stanley reflected on the decision to retire Kiss. Unlike Gene Simmons, the singer and guitarist has not yet returned to the solo career stage – and does not seem willing to return.

“I think last year (2024), I began to articulate this as if life were a one -way street. And it gets narrower. Time is precious. Do I miss being on stage in front of 50 thousand people? Of course. Michael Jordan (basketball icon) missing what he did? Everyone who has achieved this kind of success is missing, but there is a difference between missing and desired. I miss, but there’s no way back. ”

In Starchild’s opinion, his work resembles that of an athlete, whether in the general physical or vocal aspect. For him, everything that depends on the body comes at a time when you can no longer perform. But in his words, “it is life.”
