Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Sao Paulo and Brasilia are on the agenda of the American band, which lived its peak in the 1990s
THE SIXPENCE NONE THE RICHER announced his first shows in Brazil. The American band has five dates scheduled in the country in June, in the following cities:
- Belo Horizonte (Ney Soares Theater, 10/06);
- Rio de Janeiro (Clara Nunes Theater, 06/11);
- Curitiba (Bom Jesus Theater, 06/13);
- São Paulo (Carioca Club, 06/14);
- Brasilia (Toinha, 06/15).
Tickets are already on sale in all squares through the website Clube do Engresso, exception made to Rio and Curitiba, where the platform is Meaple. Produced by crooked aesthetics, the tour also goes through Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Panama, Costa Rica and Mexico.
About Sixpence None The Richer
Formed in 1992, the alternative/Christian rock group led by the singer Leigh Nash He achieved success five years later, with his third album, the same name. The album in question brought the singles “Kiss Me”, “There She Goes” and “I Can’t Catch You”he sold over 1 million copies in the United States and was nominated for the best gospel rock album Grammy in 1999.
After two gaps, from 2004 to 2007 and from 2016 until 2023, the band returned to tour and launch new studio materials. In 2024, the EP reached public Rosemary Hillwith six tracks.
The training is practically the same responsible for the 1997 album tour: Leigh Nash on vocals, MATT SLOCUM on the guitar, Justin Cary in the bass and Dale Baker on the battery. The only absence is the guitarist Sean Kelly.
