Artist provides work with a series of special appearances, including classic and contemporary names of Brazilian music
Arnaldo Antunes released, this Thursday, 20, his first album after tour with the Titanstitled New World. The production was in charge of Pupillowhich also recorded the battery, percussions and rhythm schedules. Kiko Dinucci was in charge of guitars, guitars and electronic effects, Vitor Araújo of keyboards and piano and Aguiar concretefrom the bass.
>>> New World It is available on streaming platforms.
Following a minimalist project with piano and voice, the singer missed more dancing shows and was inspired by the aforementioned excursion with Titans. More than a return to band sound, he sees the album as a renewal, driven by his producer and the musicians who brought a contemporary sound.
On New Worldthe artist commented:
“I am excited about the result, I felt very comfortable with the suggestions of arrangements; the mixture of electrical, electronic and acoustic sounds; the ‘prepared guitar’ and the guitars of a thousand sounds of Kiko; the genius ideas of Pupillo; the essential low of Concrete and also by pursuing my partnership in another way with Vitorwhich has yielded so many beauties in recent years, in our joint project. Everyone was willing to experience new things (arrangements, tones, rhythms, effects), which is what excuses me. So it’s a record that brings this freshness. ”

There are four special appearances at the launch: David Byrne (Talking Headssoil), in “Body Body” and “You can’t stand there at the door”; Marisa Montein music “I’m alone”; Ana Electric Chickenin “Not to speak badly”; and Vandalin the song “New World”. Furthermore, Tomé Antunesson of the composer, plays guitar in “To play”as a string quartet, with arrangement of ANTONIO NEVESmarks presence in “I’m alone”.
The album’s cover and graphic design are signed by Batman Zavarezewith whom Antunes had already worked on the tour of Tribalistand that will also do the art direction of the show, debut in April. The photos are from Averse leo and the costumes of Marcelo Sommer.
