That night, Jack and Meg White played a set with 25 songs in Auditory Coca-Colaof which 23 are available on the platform (the tracks “Let’s build a home” and a cover of “Goin ‘Back to Memphis”from Soledad Brothersthey were left out).

Being the debut show of the album tour released in 2005, the setlist brought the first live performances of seven tracks from GET BEHIND ME Satanwhich would only officially reach the public a month later. Among the premieres were the singles “Blue Orchid”, “My Doorbell” and “The Denial Twist”.

The repertoire also included band classics as “Dead Leaves and The Dirty Ground” (which opened the show), “Fell in love with a girl” and “Seven Nation Army”.

According to the description on the website of Nugs.netthe auditorium was only half of its capacity, as the two main local football teams played important matches that day. There is something poetic in this: the same sport that, in the last tour, had transformed “Seven Nation Army” In a fans anthem, now “stole” part of the audience at the beginning of a new era of the band.

In addition to Monterrey, the 2005 tour went through very striking places in Latin America – including an unusual concert in the Argentine city of Puerto Iguazú, on the Foz do Iguaçu border on May 26 in a space for a few people.

A few days later, the White Stripesarrived in Brazil with three memorable presentations: on June 1st, in Amazonas Theaterin Manaus – the first rock show in the story held on the spot. The concert, which yielded a special documentary for the MTVIt was a milestone for both the band and live music in Amazonas. Then the band played in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

The art of cover and the complete tracklist of Live at Auditory Coca-Cola are now available on the Nugs.netwhere it is also possible to hear or purchase the disk.
