Next April 26 (Saturday), the Rockambole housein São Paulo, receives the 6th edition of 5 bands festival – An initiative that highlights the authorial music and the sound diversity of the new generation. With tickets still available online, the event starts at 17h and brings together names like Boogarins, Ava Rocha, Adorable cliché, Monster, Crizin da Zo and Aquino On a night of musical discoveries.
Idealized by Alexandre Gigliochannel creator Minute indiethe festival was born with the purpose of fostering the independent scene and offering a space for emerging artists.
The 5 Bands is one of the coolest and curated projects for you to know new artists. We are very inspired by projects and festivals here in Brazil and out there that has this vein as one of its main pillars. We need to look more at ‘indoors’ and the little ones! ” Giglio.
The night in detail:
Aquino
The carioca trio opens the festival with a dancing indie that mixes influences ranging from Corner club to the Talking Headsgoing through C. Tangana and Gilberto Gil.
Monster
With an alternative rock that oscillates between the intimate and the chaotic, the Paulistano group brings letters inspired by everyday, packed by striking instruments.
Adorable cliché
Santa Catarina present the acclaimed “Dreams that never die”elected one of the best albums of the year for APCA (2023).
Crizin da Zo
One of the great recent revelations, the trio of the river mixes funk, electronic, samba, rap and punk in an explosive and original sound.
BOOGARINS + AVA ROCHA
The closing is due to the psychedelic rock of the band Goiana, which promises a journey of improvisation and experimentation, with special participation of Ava Rocha.
In addition to the main attractions, the night will also have a DJ Cavaca Records set (Cainan Willy and Yasmin Kala)ensuring the animated mood until the end.
