With almost 40 years on the road, Red Hot Chili Peppers created several songs and played them several times on stage, from worldwide hits to the most popular songs only among fans – the setlist often has a lot of variety.
However, the most popular songs end up with a certain prioritization, and become practically mandatory presence at shows, like the leader “Give It Away” (played over 900 times live) and “californication” (more than 700 times in the setlist). Red Hot Chili Peppers announce new album
Red Hot Chili Peppers announced a new album last Sunday, 25th. Titled Return of the Dream Canteen, the disc is the second part of a double work produced by Rick Rubin engraved with unlimited Love, lannounced in April of this year after the musicians’ meeting with the guitarist John Frusciante. Return of the Dream Canteen is due to arrive on October 14 from Warner.
“When it was all over, we realized we had a lot of songs, and we weren’t quite sure what to do with them. Well, here’s what we decided: two equally significant double albums. Return of the Dream Canteen it’s all we are and all we ever dreamed of being. It’s made with the blood of our hearts,” the band said on their Instagram.

Unlimited Love (2022)
Unlimited Love was the group’s 12th studio album and the band’s first release since the well-received The Getawaand (2016) – of the hit “Dark Necessities.” with the return of John Frusciante, Unlimited Love has 16 tracks and topped the Billboard chart and other rankings around the world, according to the NME.
There were more than 145 million streams and 97,000 copies sold and surpassed the band’s last albums, with the second place on Billboard – lost only to views(2016)of Drake.
Made by Rick Rubin – who worked on Californication – Unlimited Loveit was born from the members’ jams. According to a publication on social networks, the marks of the record are in the dedication and commitment “to make the best music possible.”
