Vocalist and guitarist made statements about commitment and desire to do these final shows of the band
Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshendboth members of the The Whothey exchanged barbs on the band’s future tour. Giro only starts in August and marks the last shows of the group.
In an interview with Sunday People (via NME), Townshend made controversial statements by saying that the band “Continued for a long time” and remembered the deaths of Keith Moon (drummer) and John Entwistle (bassist). The musician also said he felt as if his group were focusing on many efforts on something that lost its meaning.

On the other hand, Daltrey told the Daily Mail who does not want to play with a person who is not compromised:
“If Pete doesn’t want to tour, I don’t want to go back to the road with The Who, at the age of 81, with someone who doesn’t want to be there – if that’s what he’s saying. I’m not going to do it with someone in half. But, you know, every dog has its day, and it was a wonderful journey.”
Resignation of Zak Starkey and new drummer
Recently, The Who underwent confusion involving the now former band of the band, Zak Starkey. First, he was fired, then rehired and finally dismissed for good. Rumors had already circulated that the group was dissatisfied with their presentation at two charity shows of the Tenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall in London in March.
Instead, entered Scott Devrslongtime drummer of Roger Daltrey’s band. The musician has shown very grateful for the opportunity and asks The Who fans to give him a chance.
