Presentation in the Ibirapuera Park auditorium composes 25 -year -old tour of the legendary band from Rio Grande do Sul, far from losing vigor
The almost five -year gap was not enough for the gauchos of the Large dog lost breath. In a commemorative tour of the band’s 25th anniversary, announced last year by celebrating the date, the group passed São Paulo during the opening of the festival Best of Blues and Rockheld in the auditorium of Ibirapuera Park.
Experts in energetic openings, having already been the initial attraction of Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and Oasis In Brazil, the group took the stage on time at 2:30 pm, with few breaks or interactions between the songs. For the time, no member participated in the press conference that brought together other festival musicians.
Still with the lawn away from the maximum occupation, a few dozen fans of the band took the void to occupy the grid and sing hits of the band, as ‘Sincerely’ and ‘You don’t know what you lost’the latter that ended the presentation. Those who clustered still received special attention from charismatics Beto Bruno and MARCELO GROSS.
The first weekend of the festival will still have Vitor Kley, Richard Ashcroft (The Verve) and Dave Matthews Bandclosing Saturday night (7). Foreigners repeat their presentations on Sunday (8) with Soul Lee and Paula Lima interpreting songs of Rita Lee and Red baron at the opening.
