Music former ex-GUITARIST OF EVANESCENCE who is abandoning musical career

German instrumentalist who left the band in 2022 now states that he decides to move away from the music industry as a whole

Jen Majuraguitarist of Evanescence Between 2015 and 2022, he announced that he is “moving away” from the music industry as a whole. Whether it’s recordings with studio bands or live performances, she no longer intends to work with it anymore.

The decision was communicated by the 41 -year -old German on his social networks. According to her, several factors demotivated her – among them the current way of using artificial intelligence (AI) in music.

The artist said:

“Dear friends, I will be as soon as possible: after careful consideration, observing what is happening in the music industry, the AI -related developments and changes in society, I came to the conclusion of away.”

Majura, who has also played in bands like Knorkator and Equilibriumthanked for the experiences lived throughout his career in music. However, the German said that, at the moment, he prefers to give up this routine to enjoy life in another way:

“Some of you have heard me about it for some time. Instead of wasting another year of my life constantly waiting for new energies, impulse and creativity, I reached a point of my life when I can relax in peace. While time allowed me, I could accumulate an incredible amount of experiences, tours, shows, travel and wonderful moments!

Majura does not rule out compose and record one day. However, it guarantees that this is not in the plans in the near future.

“I am not saying that I will never create music, whether recorded or live – but for now, I feel that there are healthier and better things to fill my life with good vibrations and not deal with the overwhelming amount of nonsense that accompany the music industry these days. I just can no longer identify with the attitude and values today.”
