Under medical recommendation, previously keyboardist suspends his next performances in July, but retains the British tour until October

The reason is the medical indication for surgery. The diagnosis refers to a “continuous health problem” without detailed specifications.

Rick Wakeman and health problems
Now 76, Rick Wakeman has faced several medical challenges during his life: he suffered three heart attacks before 25 years, he had cirrhosis, hepatitis and pneumonia and even faced vision problems such as macular degeneration.
Even so, it remains active on phases and study, with recurring tours and recordings. In April 2024, he even held a farewell tour throughout Brazil.
