“I started understanding what financial success was, but I didn’t know how to actually manage money. I lost almost everything. It was only 10%,” Kevin said, immediately causing surprise to the presenter and listeners. The confession attracted attention not only for frankness, but for the contrast with the public image of one of the greatest pop bands of the 2000s.
According to the singer, the situation worsened in 2016, when one of his commercial partnerships in the real estate field failed. “I invested in the real estate sector and in other areas. At the time I was building, but unfortunately I did not choose the right partnership,” he complained. Although in detail on the values, Kevin stressed that the damage was expressive and required many efforts to get around the problem.
The turn only came in 2019, with the long meeting of Jonas Brothers, who marked the group’s return to the stage and the charts of success. For Kevin, the meeting with the brothers represented the opportunity to reconstruct his financial and personal life with a new perspective.
“It was a second possibility. Not only for the band, but for me as an individual and as a professional. I returned with another mentality, with a more strategic vision of his career and business,” he said.
