Para Festival celebrates two decades with names such as Fernanda Abreu, Otto, Julia Mestre and Crizin da Zo, as well as great Amazonian encounters
THE Festival revealed the full line-up of its 20-year special edition, scheduled for September 6 at Porto Futuro, in Belém (PA). With a curatorship that mixes freshness, diversity and brasilidade, the event celebrates its trajectory with renowned artists and new talents of national and Amazonian music.
Among the highlights are Julia Mestrewhich disembarks in the capital of Para with the tour WONDERFUL. In solo career after success with the group Bullet Desirethe carioca singer delivers a sensory pop show with references ranging from Marina Lima the Donna Summer. Another rising name that promises to shake the festival is Crizin da Zo With a sound that fuses carioca funk, rap, punk and electronic beats, the quartet of Rio de Janeiro presents the show of the acclaimed album Fickleelected one of the best releases of last year.
The stage of Torn also receives Fernanda Abreucelebrating 30 years of career with a set filled with dancing hits like “Rio 40 degrees” and “Lata Poison”. Otto Revive the classic One morning I woke up with uneasy dreams in a commemorative 15 -year show on the album, while Bahia Assucena It takes its intense and poetic compositions influenced by tropicalism and MPB.
In the Amazonian scene, the festival brings powerful and unpublished encounters, such as Aqno & Rawiwho represent a new generation of northern artists with sharp discourses and dance sounds. The traditional Master Cupijó Ball Divide the stage with Master Iolanda do Pilãoand Keilareference at Tecnomelody Pará, joins the band Paulista The mönic in an explosive presentation.
Other confirmed names include Acaju Colonial Furniture, Sophia Chablau and a huge waste of time, Popozuda Valesca, terraplana, Tapajós Suraras with Lia Sophia and the Scots of TEENAGE FANCLUBwhich will make their debut in the northern region of Brazil.
