Brasilian Music Award launches series with new and veterans of the Bahian scene


The first season of the debut at “Casa Pmb” on YouTube on 20 July and brings together names such as Mariene de Castro, Lazzo Matummbre, Rachel Reis, Hira and Melly

THE Brazilian music prize (PMB) debuts a new phase of celebration of national culture with the launch of the series of documentaries PMB. The production has musical meetings that combine different generations of the Brazilian scene, focusing on the connections between veterans artists and new names that are redesigned the sound of the country’s sound. The first season is dedicated to Bahia and will have three episodes available on Sundays on PMB On YouTube, between July 20 and August 3, always at 20h.

Recorded in Salvador, the Bahie season is directed by Marcio Debellian and promotes powerful meetings between renowned names, such as Lazzo Matummbre, Mariese de Castro AND Ju Moraesand representatives of the new generation as Rachel Reis, Hiran, Nunes in court, Melly AND Yan Cloud. More than shows, the series focuses on the exchange of experiences between artists who transport ancestors and innovation to the same measure.
