Musicasive Attack unites musicians in alliance against censorship after criticism of the war

Fontaines DC, Brian Eno, Garbage and Kneecap support the movement that challenges intimidations suffered by artists who position themselves about the conflict in Gaza

THE Massive Attack announced the formation of an alliance of musicians committed to combating the censorship imposed on those who publicly manifest themselves on the war in Gaza. The initiative emerges in response to what the group describes as “intimidations within the industry itself” and legal attacks organized by groups such as the UK Lawyers for Israel.

“What is happening in Gaza exceeds any description. We use our platforms to denounce this genocide and the role of the British government in it, ”the band wrote on social networks.“ That’s why we have suffered legal reprisals and pressures within the music market ”.
