The artist presents his new album, Phasor, in an intimate show in SP on November 7, as part of Balaclava Fest warming
The musician and producer Black Helada It is back in Brazil for a unique presentation that promises to warm the hearts of alternative music fans. The show, which takes place on November 7, Friday, marks one of the warming nights of the 15th edition of Balaclava Fest and will be held in the charming Rockambole housein the neighborhood of Pinheiros, in São Paulo.
Born in Florida and son of Ecuadorian immigrants, ROBERTO CARLOS LANGEname behind the project Black Heladabuilt a unique sound path, mixing Latin folk, analog synthesizers, environmental textures and elements of Avant-Pop. Her music is deeply personal and atmospheric, with lyrics that look like poetic whispers packed by surrounding electronic layers.
After gaining international prominence with records like This is how you smile (2019) and Far in (2021), Black Helada launched in February this year the praised Phasor by the British label 4ad. Inspired by the infinite possibilities of the Sal-Mar experimental synthesizer, the album features tracks as “Best for You and Me” and “I just want to wake up with you”who have already conquered the public with their dream lyricism and refined production.
This will be the second time that Black Helada performs in Brazil, the first was in 2022, during the Spring Sound São Paulo. This time, the artist returns in a more intimate mood, providing fans a close and immersive experience. Tickets are now available on the Ingress website and also at the physical point of sale Takkø Coffee, with no convenience rate.
As part of heating for the Balaclava Fest 2025which happens on November 9 and brings names like Stereolab, Yo La Tengo, GORDIE GREEP and FCuwersthe band Cap’n jazzperforms on Saturday, November 8, at Cine Joia.
