Singer presented a list dominated by young and unknown artists, except for the young English rapper and drummer of his own band
Hayley Williams He is keeping an eye on young artists out of the radar. The singer of Paramorewho launched a surprise solo job this week, took the opportunity to share a list of its five favorite songs at the moment – and virtually all the choices come from little known musicians in the mainstream.
The recommendations are present on your Page in Substack. When presenting them, she initially stated:
“In honor of the release of my new songs on streaming services, here are 5 new songs that I just can’t stop listening.”
The chosen ones were:
- Little Simz – “Thief”
- Safe Mind – “What’s Left”
- Snuggle – “Sun Tan”
- Tiberius B – “Sugar Rush”
- Zac Farro – “I Need You”
The only easy name identification among most Paramore fans is that of Zac Farro. The group’s longtime drummer also develops a solo career, merging acoustic elements of country and folk with psychedelic/alternative rock, Farro released this year the album Operatorwhere it comes from “I Need You”.
Perhaps the most prominent name in general, Little Simz (Artistic name of SIMBIATU ABISOLA ABIOLA AJIKAWO) is a young English rapper with six albums released. The most recent, Lotus (2025), is “Thief”track composed by her as a criticism of the producer Inflwhom they accuse judicially of not paying a proper amount of money.
Hayley Williams’ new solo work
Hayley Williams launched, by surprise, a collection of 17 new tracks, all produced by Daniel James. The singer composed, played and recorded several instruments along each of the songs, also with recurring contributions from Brian Robert Jones and Joey Howardbesides the participation of Jim-e stack in “True Believer”.
After more than 20 years fulfilling your contract with the Atlantic Records “Signed when Williams was still a teenager,” Paramore announced in December 2023 that he had finally become an independent band. Already this new collection is a self -employed launch of Hayley for its new seal Post Atlanticwith distribution via Secretly Distribution.
Untitled, the compilation of lanes is the third solo work of Hayley Williams. During the pandemic, she released two albums – PETALS FOR ARMOR (2020) and Flowers for Vases (2021).
