In an interview of 2023 to journalist Claudio Borges, for the Igor Miranda websiteBen Christo revealed that there are no plans to release a new album from The Sisters of Mercy. He explains:
“My opinion is that we would make money because people would buy the album, the merchandise and things like that, but there would be a lot of work and maybe we had to give in to many things and that could destabilize the unit of the brand created by Andrew, his vision for the band and her identity. That we have done in recent years, it has worked. We don’t need an album. ”
