Musickaty Perry pays a fine for recording clip in protected area from Spain

Katy Perry was fined 6,000 euros (approximately R $ 37,000) for filming the music video “Lifetimes” without authorization in SES Salines Natural Parkprotected area of the Balear Islands in Spain. The recording took place in July 2024 in the dunes of S’espalmadorrestricted access zone for local fauna and flora protection.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment of the Balearians classified the infraction as “severe” and confirmed that the producer responsible for the music video did not obtain prior authorization for filming.
