MusicDoCes or Pranks: Florence + The Machine’s new album arrives at this Halloween

The group’s sixth album is called Everybody Scream

Florence and the machine will offer the best halloween candy with the release of its new album, Everybody Screamscheduled for October 31st.

The band confirmed the LP release on social networks on Tuesday, August 19, sharing the album cover and a short message: “Florence and the machine. Everybody Scream. The new album. In this halloween. ”The ad follows a series of teasers, including a shared enigmatic video on social networks last week, which showed Florence Welch digging a hole in a field with a dagger and then shouting inside it.

Various versions of Everybody Scream were also available for pre-sale on the Florence + The Machine. The LP will have 12 new tracks (the full list of songs has not yet been released), although the luxury editions on CD and vinyl bring additional versions called “Chamber Versions” of four tracks on the album.

Everybody Scream will be the sixth studio album of Florence + The Machine And the first since Dance Fever 2022. It is not known much more about the new album so far, although Welch has left some clues in a publication in the Instagram at the beginning of July. Slideshow included a photo of Welch in the studio with the guitarist of Idles, Mark Bowenand another of a white picture full of mantras and ideas, such as “clarity = power” (clarity = power), “vocals !!!”, and “Swans vs. Adele”.

Florence + The Machine has released some new songs since the release of Dance Feverincluding the single of 2023 “Mermaids”. They also released some versions, such as a version of “Just a girl” of In the double for the soundtrack of YELLOWJACKETS and an interpretation of British World War II music “White Cliffs of Dover” for the series The New Look from the AppleTV+. Earlier this year, Florence + The Machine joined the Everything is record and Sampha for the new collaborative single “Never Felt Better”.
