Colgate Plax launches limited editions and is present at the largest music and entertainment festival in the world
Twenty editions, more than two thousand artists and more than ten million spectators. This is Rock in Rio, which turned 37 years of history in 2022, the year in which the festival is repeated in the City of Rock, on 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 and 11 September.

After a three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 2022 is expected to be another milestone in the festival’s history, breaking new records. The tickets, completely digital for the first time, sold out in less than 2 hours from the start of the sale.
37 years ago, Roberto Medina, founder of Rock in Rio, was a pioneer of Brazilian entertainment when he conceived the first mainly rock event, in 1985. The festival has a diverse lineup, combining other musical styles besides rock, bringing great electronic and pop music concerts. The Mundo Stage will be the largest the public has ever seen in the history of the event and will feature more than 26 attractions.
The largest music and entertainment festival in the world has become a landmark of headbanger culture, a term used by fans of heavy metal and other variations of underground rock since the 1970s, due to a distinctive way of enjoying the sound: move your head to the rhythm of the music.
