Festival in Sao Paulo starts this weekend with reconfigured space at the Interlagos racetrack and even a new location focused on periphery art
The preparation for the The Town 2025 follow in full swing. THE Interlagos Autodrome go through the latest adjustments to receive the festival, which will move São Paulo On September 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14.
The structure of the place was almost all reconfigured for this year’s edition. There are news and even a new space, called Broken stagefocusing on the art and culture of the periphery.
The main changes in space are the new positions of the stage The One, São Paulo Square and Factory.
What doesn’t change is the Skyline Stage, that maintains its role of protagonism at the festival and will receive the main shows of The Town 2025, such as those of Katy Perry, Green Day, BACKSTREET BOYS, Mariah Carey and Travis Scott.
See how the distribution of the stages will be:
- Skyline Stage: It is the main stage of the festival and has scenography inspired by the skyscrapers of São Paulo. It is installed at the same location as the previous edition in 2023.
- The One Stage: This time you will be farther from Skyline. Was idealized as a kind of amphitheater, with several LED screens, and will receive names like Iggy Pop, LAURYN HILL and Ludmilla.
- Stage Sao Paulo Square: It will occupy the space that was from The One in 2023. It focuses on jazz and blues presentations.
- Factory Stage: It will occupy the space that was from São Paulo Square in the previous edition. It will emphasize urban rhythms and the new generation of talents.
- Broken stage: It is the big news of edition 2025. It will be a stage for national rap and hip hop artists, with rhyme and dance battles.
