The Duo North Sector launches this Thursday (25) the single HeroSong that denounces the celebration of false heroes while highlighting the precariousness of ordinary life. In the verses that evoke gun icons, football and pop pop in peripheral scenarios, the duo builds a surprising portrait of the Brazilian reality.
The track is the largest bet of North sectorwho debuted with his career with the release of the single until the end. This second single, beyond the theme, also entails the strength to have been the driving force of the beginning of the history of the duo.
After the death of his brother, Marcelo Yuka (Rappa), Pedro he joined his talents to RomulumWhich was already working in Marcelo’s study, to keep the project alive and give light to new artistic works.
After a while by producing several artists, the duo has started to produce some personal traces without pretensions, being the first of them HeroWritten by Pedro. Music made artists understand the potential for the beginning of a new job and a productive partnership that expressed their personal feelings but also denounces hypocrisy and social inequalities.
“It was a period of mourning for me, and Romulus also followed everything. So the track transports feelings related to this reflection, but the entire project has a social context, which is our thing to see music as a tool. And these individual veins, which are beautiful, do not invalidate the rest of the work, because we can sew well in our perspective.”Analyze Pedro, who despite being specialized in areas of knowledge related to the music and studies technique, was not a singer until then.
Encouraged by this experience, he started studying singing and taking on the role of singer and composer.
Hero It is the synthesis of this proposal of North sectorStarting from a subjective and poetic point of view to highlight the structural problems of the Brazilian people. In a dystopian vision, the same lyrical imagines: “On the stage of the Brazilian suburbs/ VI Spice Girls on the funk/ Bruno Mars bearing that sings in church/ Ronaldinho renounces football to win a Merres in service/ while Gisele Bündchen runs with his children.”

The clip explores dynamic images that create silhouettes from a game of light and shadows, interspersed with everyday images, some very shocking and extracted from a private show held in Elevafon, exclusively for the video.
