RBD had two shows in Brazil planned for this year, says journalist

The group would play to an audience 22 times larger than the last time they came to Brazil

It almost came: according to journalist José Norberto Flesch, it seems that the RBD group had everything to come to Brazil, before the rescheduling of the tour. According to him, who obtained data from the São Paulo City Hall, the group had concerts scheduled at Allianz Parque on May 20 and 21, 2022. That is, next month!

However, things did not go well and the shows, which were not even announced, had to be postponed due to the (at the time) new variant of Covid-19. For now, the new dates remain on hold.

Also according to Flesch, RBD continues to renegotiate both the dates in Brazil and the entire tour. So maybe we’ll soon have the answer about the future of RBD’s live performances. Anyway, check out the video:

Finally, it is worth remembering that the last time the RBD was on Brazilian soil was in 2008, 14 years ago. Jeez! At the time, the group performed at the Palácio das Convenções do Anhembi, at the time called Arena Skol Anhembi. The space has a capacity for about 2500 people.

In this sense, if the band decides to come to Brazil and perform at Allianz Parque, assuming they would have a full house, they would see 55,000 fans — an audience 22 times larger than their last show here in just one day of presentation. Success!
