Big Brother’s Janelle Pierzina talks about season 24 and why no season can be as intense as years ago

Janelle Pierzina is a legend of Older brother, and as anyone who has seen her perform knows, she isn’t shy about sharing her opinion. Indeed, Twitter users could see how how I’ve felt for Daniel Durston since season 24 when she left with Taylor Hale, but what do you think of the season as a whole? Janelle was kind enough to share her thoughts on Gossipify and why no modern season can be as intense as the early years.

I spoke to Janelle Pierzina before her last appearance on a reality show in the United States snake in the grasswhich will be released on Monday 29 August. I asked Janelle for her opinion on Older brother Season 24 based on what you’ve seen so far and what you honestly think is going on:

With this season, I’d say it’s one of the best modern Big Brother seasons I’ve ever seen because it’s not like a herd of sheep following a person and then voting completely with the house. By unanimously voting people out of the game and little or no strategy. I think this game has a lot of strategy right now.

Anyone who saw Janelle in season 22 should know this these are not one-sided seasons . This season, The Leftovers managed to overturn the script by expelling Ameerah Jones and Nicole (which has suffered a backlash fan for Taylor’s mistreatment ), and it looks like even The Leftovers won’t last long with the house split and drama to come. In short, the votes are not unanimous and, as Janelle said, there is a lot of strategy.

Janelle is a fan of season 24, so much so that she compared her to another recent and popular one. Older brother season. Janelle gave former roommate Tyler Crispen and the season 20 cast some love (even though he actually expelled her from All stars 2) talking about the latest episodes:

It is so interesting to watch. I would say it is in line with, for me, I love season 20 because I love wrestling alliances. I like to cheer up the underdogs. So I always supported this horrible alliance, the hive? They were so bad. I enjoyed watching Bayley try to figure this out. I always support the underdogs.

Older brother Season 24 ticks the boxes for a modern and fun season for Janelle. I was wondering if the drama could compare to some of her early appearances and if season 24 lived up to some of the game’s early years.

Some people may compare season 24’s Older brother to an earlier season of the game, but Janelle Pierzina isn’t one of those people. Janelle explained that she doesn’t think we’ll ever have another season like the good old days, and this is more a product of changing times than the game itself:

I don’t think we’ll ever have classic OG gamers where you are faced with someone yelling stuff because of the environment the country is in. People get erased and say, ‘Oh my God. I don’t want to waste my life. Like, why should you do this? And some people’s intention to be in reality TV today is different than it was in 2005. Where there was no social media, and you thought, ‘I want to win Big Brother so the people who get it are different.

Janelle thinks social media and cancellation culture definitely did Older brother harder to navigate and as a result Houseguests aren’t that extreme these days. On the plus side, the Houseguests aren’t quite as combative as they once were, although there have been a few that have been mired in controversy. (Season 21 winner Jackson Michie is a prime example. . )

Janelle Pierzina does not continue Older brother soon, but fans will be able to catch his season 13 winner Rachel Reilly (who wants to return to the game ), and frequent Survived candidates Cirie Fields and Stephenie Kendrick on USA snake in the grass. The series features four contestants, all vying for a cash prize, but there’s a traitor among them. Players must try to complete the challenges in an attempt to unmask the identity of the Snake, or lose and walk away with nothing while the Snake receives $ 100,000.

If all three identify the snake, they split the money and the other leaves with nothing. Obviously the game is more intense with Older brother Yes Survived alumni in the mix, so this is going to be one that fans won’t want to miss. Capture Janelle and others snake in the grass Monday, Aug. 29 at 11 p.m. ET in the US Of course, anyone with a Paramount + subscription you can see these iconic players again Survived This is Older brotherso maybe do it while you wait for that exciting new episode.
