‘The Car’ is the English band’s seventh studio work, which will perform in Brazil in November
The Arctic Monkeys will release their new album, titled The carto Friday 21 October. The British band’s seventh studio album contains ten new songs written by Alex Turner, produced by James Ford and recorded at Butley Priory, Suffolk, RAK Studios, London and La Frette, Paris.
After Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino of 2018, The car shows the Arctic Monkeys in their quest for a refined new music landscape, as well as presenting, according to advertising material, a rich and rewarding vocal performance from Alex Turner’s career.
The premium LP will be available in limited edition glossy gray vinyl with hardcover in the Official AM Store. An exclusive color disc will arrive in independent stores and HMV stores. or The car it will also be available on standard LP, CD, cassette and digital.

The Arctic Monkeys will play and will be the headliners of several festivals in the coming months: in Brazil they will perform in November: on the 4th, at the Jeunesse Arena, Rio de Janeiro; 5th, at Primavera Sound, San Paolo; and on the 8th, in Pedreira Paulo Leminsk, Curitiba.
The consecration of the Arctic Monkeys took place in 2006, with the release of the album What People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not, elected the best of the year by various newspapers, such as American Time and the British NME.
