The finalists of Multishow Award 2022 in popular categories were announced this Monday (29) in a cross-platform action involving the channel, open TV and social networks of presenters, influencers and press vehicles.
Now, in the second phase, it is the public who decides who will be the big winners of this edition. The result will be known live at the scheduled awards ceremony October 18.
The trio of presenters Marcos Mion, Gloria Groove And Linn from QuebradaMoreover Priscilla Alcântara, Hugo Gloss, Gshow, Popline, Globoplay and influencers little blogger And Nicole Bahlrevealed the finalists in each category: Artist of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Album of the Year, Voice of the Year, Group of the Year, Show of the Year, Song of the Year, Duo of the Year, TVZ Clip of the Year And success of the year.
The candidates were chosen by the Multishow Academy Awardconsisting of approx. 600 people linked to the musical universe. It was up to them to indicate the names of the artists, based on the diversity, musical genres and regions of Brazil, ensuring the plurality that is reflected in the music scene. Among the novelties of this edition are the prizes for Artist of the year – which replaces Singer And Singer of the year – and Voice of the Year, and the increase in the number of candidates per category, from five to eight names.
