Cashews and Chestnuts (2001)

Despite the heavy sound, some of the audience tied them to the emo style, which had become a fever in Brazil years earlier, and wasn’t exactly well regarded by metalheads. Also, that year, Sepultura was chosen for an alternate stage, leaving many unhappy fans.
Faced with almost certain whistles, the musicians had to turn around. In an interview with Pop Podcast, in 2021, singer Mi Vieira said that the group was cursed during a soundcheck and decided to make a plan to prevent the audience from expressing their displeasure: get quickly on stage, singing three songs below. Soon after, they changed the covers of the metal group Pantera and a solo by drummer Eloy Casagrande. The whistles didn’t last long and it all ended well.
Ivan Lins (1985)
